Thanks guys. I am still thinking about some matchsticks for the hands. This one looks pretty good. Maybe with a natural color box the matches would look good.

i've been making them for years now... easy to do. just get the movements from your local craft store (I get it from Michaels)

some boxes look better than others... VSG boxes look great

I just picked up a nice black Cohiba box that will probably look very nice. My B&M just gives them to me because I buy so much.Big Grin

I can't seem to find any just straight hands at Michaels or Hobby Lobby. I can order them online but the shipping kills it. I got some long wooden matches from my B&M and thought I might try cutting them to length and glueing them on on the next one. Maybe even use some spray lacquer on the matches to seal and protect them.
