It's that time of year once again! The following is a set of rules/guidelines to follow this year.

Secret Santa

ThatÃ¢â¬â¢s right ladies and gents itÃ¢â¬â¢s almost that time of year again. Secret Santa is slowly becoming a StogieChat tradition and everyone always has a blast doing it. Last year it was run by yours truly and I think it went pretty well. Anyone who fits the requirements and agrees to the rules is invited to join. Last year I think it was 30+ people that participated but hopefully we can make this years event larger.

Rules:

If you agree to join be certain that you want to do this because once the Secret SantaÃ¢â¬â¢s have been picked thereÃ¢â¬â¢s no going back.
You must pm me your name and address no sooner than October 29th and no later than midnight on November 5th. This should give plenty of time to get everyone involved. Don't forget to post it in this thread as well so everyone can know who's in.
Because I donÃ¢â¬â¢t know who will be away for the holidays the packages should be shipped out by December 4th, that way everyone will receive there's on time, most likely early. That and plenty of people across the seas participated last year so we must allow time for the packages to get there.
There are no rules against how you can ship the package just as long as it gets to the recipient on time and is shipped out by the due date. However, if shipping overseas do not put cigars on the customs declaration.
WeÃ¢â¬â¢re all adults here so I donÃ¢â¬â¢t think this will be an issue but please no revealing who you have or trying to get people to reveal who they have, until all the packages have arrived and only if you wish.
There is no limit to the amount participants can spend; it is entirely up to you how much you want to send the person, but remember 'tis the season of giving. You are welcome to give according to what you have.
Show off what you got! While it's fun getting a package of our own most of the fun is in seeing what everyone else got so don't be shy. Take pics or just simply tell us what you got so we can be jealous.

Requirements:
You must be a member of good standing. If you are the least bit questionable you will need a reference from a reliable source on this forum.

Once you are officially signed up you shall receive a confirmation pm. Once all the names have been picked you will receive another pm that will enclose the name, a few guidelines to help those who need it, and the password to the Santa login so you can pick on your Secret Santa without them finding out who you are.
