Looking to pick up a couple books
#1
I am wanting to pick up a copy of "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Post Revolutionary Havana Cigars" and "The Complete Guide for Habanos Enthusiasts" I've looked on line and the prices are pretty darn steep for this collection.  Any recommendations as to where I could pick up both or either of these for a pretty reasonable price?

Both of them are over $100 each.  What are the prices you are seeing?

It was going to be something like $170 for the two of them (without shipping).  I think just under $70 for "The Guide" and just over $100 for "The Encyclopedia."  So I guess those are fair prices then.

I just feel like a need a good book.  Which should I grab first?

The Encyclopedia is about $120, the Guide is around $75, so those prices are very fair.

If I were you I would grab the Encyclopedia first.  If I can stop buying boxes for a week I should pick up the book, lol. I have seen it before and it is awesome, the only problem with it is that it doesnt have any of the new cigars in it.

Awesome, thank you for your help.  I can't buy any cigars right now because I have nowhere to put them.  So, I have to buy something cigar related and I figured a great book would be perfect.

I found it for 55 pounds, which I figure is pretty fair, and it says that it is currently being updated in what will effectively be a Second Edition to include one or two earlier ommissions and the new Limited Editions of recent years.

I have heard this as well, but I have also heard that this will be the only edition.

This book was free from JR Cigars a few months ago with any purchase of a box of cigars that had a Habnos name, Cohiba, HDM, Partagas, RYJ.........  It was a reprint of the original, so this may be someone tring to cash in on a freebie.
