My heart skipped a few beats just reading about your encounter.  I can't imagine what I would have done in that situation.  I think the act of soiling myself would have been enough to scare off this person.

Yeah, that Ronnie is really something.  First he sells the car, and now he's not someone else!

Skipper, I like you, so it's really hard for me to tell you this, but it's for your own good.  Ronnie doesn't exist.  You've been under a lot of stress latey, and sometimes our mind plays tricks on us.  Sometimes it moves our car keys from one room to another when we're not looking.  Sometimes we look out the window at night and think there's something there.  And sometimes it makes an imaginary fishing buddy named Ronnie who is responsible for all kinds of mayhem and confusion.  Now, I know you really believe in Ronnie.  But you have to ask yourself, has anyone else seen Ronnie?

Drink some tea, have a cigar, and get some sleep.  I'm sure that if you just take it easy, this whole "Ronnie" business will disappear like a dream ...
