didging the bullet

Several months ago I went for a routine blood test to check on my cholesterol... (it's always been too low-yeah I know...)

Anyway, the doc took the blood then my mom took ill. We never followed up.

Well, I have had a horrible back ache for 7 or 8 weeks now. Crippling. Anyway I went to him about the back and he opens my folder. He says I have some dangerously low white blood cell count and starts mumbling about leukemia and lupus...

So they draw more blood...

A week later I call fully expecting to hear everything is normal, well, its not. It's lower. In the 2's... And I am sent off to a specialist.

This guy was great. He draws more blood and tells me it has vastly improved. 3.8. Low for sure, but not terrible. And he sends out a pint for further testing of anything that can cause low white blood cell count.

A few hours ago I learned it all came back negative. I am buying a couple of boxes of cigars and tonight I am going to see Peter White doing his Christmas Concert!

Great news Skipper! Now get that order placed & go enjoy the concert. Should've been doctors orders.

Spooky ordeal Skip.  Take care of your self! Stay up on your check-ups, and smoke one of your prized sticks in celebration!
