well i burned it today while watching the islanders game. probably the sweetest cigar i've ever tasted without going to the flavoreds. the initial thick syrupy molasses flavor gave way to a vanilla-esque flavor with a spearamint clean taste on the back of the palate. overall it's a cigar to check out if you like sweet flavors. me i like them bitter or spicy. the spicier the better. that being said this most likely isn't a cigar i'll be revisiting any time soon. and i don't know if you can really call it a box press. more of an oval roll.
can someone explain some of the background on this stick to me? on the label it says l'aniversarie but it's on the site as the cao extreme? is this the same stick? different packaging?

mine had 4 distinct, if rounded, corners and flattish sides, its not the severest of box presses, I will admit. . . .

This link give a little more. Electric Prune actually asked about the band on mine that gave some insight. Apparently there are the OR and current release with the different bands and very different profiles. Rob, you had one of the Original Releases if it said l'Anniversarie on it and Tom had the new version with Cameroon on it. Big time different cigars.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

ooopsss. [doh]
i also has one that says cameroon. i'll do that one next.
my wrapper though looked just like the cao extreme wrapper on the cao website but said l'aniversarie in lieu of the word extreme that now appears on the same label.
the cao cameroon i have looks just like the cao cameroon listed on their site.
