i've read that habanos is putting the finishing touches on a giant high-tech freezing facility to eliminate beetles once and for all. so all cubanos will have been frozen, if they're not already. as for other countries... i yield the floor. no idea.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I did wrap that sucker up and put it in the car to take back to the store this morning. I figured
1. I'm taking it back to the store so I'm not to worried about keeping the box at temp and humidity.
2. it's like 2 degrees outside so the little buggers would probably die out anyway.
I took it back to the store with no problems at all. They were very appolagetic about the whole deal and got me another box from an older batch they had stashed away.  ( the old RP's without the foot band) Ask if it was okay to open the new box and inspect the sticks. We unwraped it and went through the box and checked out all the sticks and they asked if I was happy with that batch. I dont think they could have made me more happy about the whole deal. I do understand that it was not their fault and it could happen to anyone but they did seem to go out of their way to make sure I was happy.

I got the new boxes wraped up in a few zip locks and in the fridge getting ready for the freezer. I really don't want to freeze them but it does seem like a good idea. I figure I still got plenty to smoke while they are in there. and the new humis will be ready by the time they go through the process. I'm really glad I got those two glass top humis that discdog pointed out in the retailers specials that other day. not I can keep a close eye on them for a while when they come out.
