LOVO Barber Pole Maduro/ Natural
#1

Torpedo barber pole Lovo

Look-this was a great and unique looking cigar. The two types of wrappers spiraling down to the foot is just cool. The wrappers themselves were ok, no giant veins, a little rough though but hey its a tobacco leaf.

Burn-The burn was great. I thought the wrappers were going to split and unwind as the burn progress but it was any other cigar....the burn was fine with a few cosmetic problems though like burning to quick on one side. Ash held on strong for about an inch plus before I ashed and again as I kept on smoking it.

Draw-great draw. No problems in this department. This might be do to the torpedo shape of the cigar. Great draw

Strength/flavor-This is a med strength cigar. It was fairly consistent all the way through....even to the bitter nub it was consistent. Because of the two wrappers you get hints of leather and earth but overall just a med strength tobacco flavor that was actually pleasing. This cigar reminds me a lot about the Vegas De Fonseca in flavor.

I would like to see how these cigar age....Who knows what flavors they might attain

I thought so because of the construction and consistentcy in flavor....but the lovo wasnt as tough as the vegas de fonseca.

The lovos is a bit lighter in body and flavor

still great smoke though

Have you ever tried Gurkha's Dos Cappos?
