I can't believe it's just making it down there. Congrats
.
We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.
Excellent bourbon to say the least. I had my first taste at the Pensacola herf and have not had it since. I may need to invade Gunnar's liquor cabinet.

Good stuff indeed. Smokey was kind enough to get me a bottle along with some Buffalo Trace.

My second bottle of Four Roses, I sprang for the Single Barrel. I definitely like it, and think it's probably worth the extra $11.
Thing is, it's sneaky. Damn 100-proof hootch fools me every time! I love cask strength expressions in bourbon and Scotch, but with those, you KNOW you're drinking serious whiskey. 100-proof, not enough stronger to set off any alarms, just tastes richer, better, more complex.
Then after your usual number of drinks, you wonder why you can't type for shit, or walk straight anymore! [lol]
