Hello
#1
hi

just signed up. have a ton of questions and heard this was th place to get answers. i just found a box of Cuban cigars that had been forgotten about. as fas as i have been told they have been sitting in a closet for the last 12 years. they are in the original box and have completly dried out. i need to know if they would be salvagable or not. i have been told that they would be, but i would have to hydrate them very slowly. does anyone have any suggestions on how to save this box or should i just leave them alone as display only?

Thank You

Ryan

Hello Ryan, and welcome to the board. This is only my honest opinion, I would say the cigars that you have found will not be salvageable. Even if you could pain stakenly rehydrate them, they will probably be mild and boring at best. I would post this question in cigar 101 and you will get better info from some of the more knowledgable guys on here.
