This sounds like a good wood-working / hobby idea... (not my hobby though)

How about taking some stock pieces about 2" x 2" x 10" long

& c'bore about 8 1/2" deep?  You could leave them square &then you could stack them in the humi

Anyway....just a thought.....

WOW, 8 X 60!  I had no idea.

 Have you thought about the clear plastic tubes that cover fluorescent lights. They come in a T10 size and you could get an 8 foot stick and cut to length.
