Any Vegas Frequenters Here
#1
I'll be in Vegas (at The Mirage) for a few days in December, and I was wondering where the most convenient cigar shops are.  I stopped at Casa Fuente on my last visit, and though it was nice, I'm really just looking for a typical B&M with a broad selection this time around (read: I have less money to burn this time).  Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to bring your own.

Seriously.  The mark up on cigars, like anything else in Vegas, can be insane, because they know that they've got you.

Right next the to Mirage to the south is Caesars Palace.  There in the mall/shop area is a great cigar store.  This mall area is mulitple floors and its part of Caesar's Palace.  I don't remember which floor the cigar shop is on though.  I think the 2nd floor if memory serves me right.  Be prepared to pay big bucks but you will find "hard to find" smokes there.

If you want to smoke the cigar you go right across the street from Caesars to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.  Inside Buffet's go to the upper level and on out to the outside deck which overlooks the strip.  Its even better at night with all the lights.  There you can light up.

Bring your camera cause the view is spectacular.

I dug up some pics so here is what to look for:

First pic is Caesars from the sidewalk.  But Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville is right behind me across the road.  The view from there is even better since one is higher up.

Now as I turn around here is Buffet's.  The food is excellent and reasonably priced.  As you can see, there is a great deck outside up on the roof:

Finally, here is what the mall area looks like so you know what you are looking for:

Actually, I think that's the store I went to the last time I was in Vegas (Casa Fuente).

Great pics, though.  I really can't wait to go now.  I might end up packing my own cigars and then spending the money I save on an overpriced $20+ Fuente.  The waitresses there make up for some of the markup Big Grin
