NY Play strike is over - Spring Awankenings

The play strike in NY is over. My wife purchased tickets to the above play about 5 months ago. She's a happy camper that we are now making the 1.5 hour trip into the city to see the play and dinner.

Meanwhile, my brother in law called me last night to ask if I wanted to go fishing with him one last ime before the boat comes out of the water.

Why couldn't they settle the strike next week instead.

He said if he catches any Stripers, he'll mail me the head..

Send her with a girlfriend.  No way I'd be missing the last fishing trip of the season.  Maybe that's why I'm not married!  Of course up here we pull the boats out so the lake can freeze nice and smooth and then we just drill holes in it and keep on fishing.  I'll be out there in a couple weeks!

I remember doing that. We would ride up to North Jersey somewhere, drill holes, set the lines, then the fun part started!! I would bring a case of 7oz beer bottles. We would drink the beer and set the bottles up as bowling pins. We would bowl and watch the lines. Great Time..

nope... the weather sucked this weakend... yesterday it blew a gale. Today it snowed and is too damn cold.
