The Excursions do get have horrible fuel economy if you have the 5.4L V8 or V10, but if you have the 7.3L diesel they typically get 20 MPG on the Hwy!

i average 11 mpg & now lets talk about the boat. 15 gal per hour at 20 knots. That's about 1.2 mpg.

I live in the redest red of all.

It's not really distribution costs, either. State Tax is a big driving factor for the difference in fuel prices.

In NJ, they pump the gas for you and I paid $2.83.

I have a 1996 Tahoe but I love that car. Wife has a 2005 Santa Fe, son has a 2001 Santa Fe, son has a 2005 Equinox and daughter has a 2004 Honda Civic. Get the picture on who has the oldest car but I don't care. Cars R U getting you places.

Connecticut has always been one of the heaviest gas taxed states in teh country.

Especially sine they did away with the tolls on I 95.

Great site I found 6 years ago. I actually used it to buy a car, 98 civic. I still have the hemiram that sucks lots of fuel, I needed a daily scooter.
