you are asking for the "cheapest humidification"....nothing wrong with that, I'm just as cheap as the next guy.
Keep in mind though, humidity is the lifeblood of your cigars....and those cigars can be quite an investment.
Here we're discussing humidifying a hundred dollars or more (I'm guessing, you mentioned a couple desktops) in cigars with a humidy sheet that costs a buck twenty-five....
When you're choosing a humidity source, and the difference between sketchy and safe is only a few dollars...maybe it's worth the extra cash.
