Skipper the cigar aFISHinodo Wrote:Scott, as my taste changes and I get older (leaving less time which in turn locks down the phrase "life's too short to smoke ---- cigars" & for me the ---- is cigars I dont enjoy that much)... I always find a box or 2 of cigars buried in my humidor I have had for 5+ years and never considered smoking. Typically someone in SC ends up being the beneficiary of this. If, after all the guys send their sticks, you want a few more, let me know & I'll go mining.

Then again, do not forget Eric! He has had an SC special on Nubs. 6 cigars for $24.99.
thanks john! i'll have to see how much dad's humidor can hold, i think he is probably going to be pretty well stocked. i usually have some sticks i got one way or another that i end up forwarding to him. his tastes are very weird, and it took me a while to figure it out. but i think it's he's always so busy, he just doesn't care if it's great or mediocre, as long as it's there. seriously, they man will pick my cigar nub from friday night out of the ashtray saturday afternoon and smoke it, without even giving it a second thought [wow]  so gross!

& then there's always http://nublive.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18

You know, it always surprises me how if someone posts: "Hey, XYZ of giving away crapsabound cigars for FREE, all you need to do is sign up" and tons of people run and sign up and subject their e-mail to tons of spam then 2 months later you get this cigar that looks like it came out of the south end of a north-bound cigar.

Since Sam started the Nub site, he has given away over 20 boxes of cigars, around 40 t-shirts and hats, a dozen ashtrays and much more. Including a few big ticket items. Yet I dont see you guys posting there. How do I know all this? Well, Sam & Oliva has put me in charge of the contests. No spam for posting there either.

Check out the current contests. There are 2 more I just created today.

i don't know if it's just me, but that website always loads SO slow for me. i wouldn't mind hanging out over there, now that i actually have some free time. but, for example, just now i clicked on the link you provided, and it took a good 5 minutes for the page to show up for me. then i clicked on one of the links, and spent another good 4 minutes waiting for it to load. maybe it's just really busy now, i'll try again later [thumbsup]

it's seldom that busy. I get poor response times from work but it flies for me at home.

I'll bring it up with the support team.

Still, we're talking free cigars! Decent ones too.
