Rocky started doing the Cello for retailers because we needed to put a price sticker on the cigars. Its a shame because the original edge was a beautiful cigar and the cello took away from the visual. The foot bands came about first on the edge lite because retailers were loosing alot of money on damaged foots.
I remember when the Edge first came out; a customer stated "how could a naked cigar sell and that RP knew nothing about marketing." My reply was, at the time, Sir this is the hottest cigar on the market right now and probably the best cigar under $10 in a long time. I wish I had some of the first release.
