Robusto
4 3/4 x 52
Wrapper: Nicaragua
Binder: Nicaragua
Filler: Nicaragua
This stick comes with a gorgeous reddish toned wrapper. A nice parchment looking leaf with a leathery smell with tones of mulch. The prelight draw on this cigar is rich in a horse raddish like spiciness, with hints of cherries and chocolate.
Lighting this cigar was a nice easy task and though the burn is bit uneven it keeps with itself pretty good. My concern was that the spiciness overwhelmed almost all other tastes. I endured the smoke for half the cigar when all of sudden as if a switch had been flipped the smoke becomes a thick creamy nutty coffee flavor. This is a medium bodied cigar, that could easily beadded to anyone's rotation. My only regret is that I almost think of it as being one dimensional, with a very extreme variation in flavors from one extreme to almost another. I will certainly add more to my rotation and see how they turn out over time.
