These have been endlessly reviewed, including by me, so I won't belabor their fine points here.

I'll just say that Rocky was here for the official grand opening of my local B&M's new location, and naturally, they ordered in a bunch of fresh stock for the event.

And BOTL, the current stock is amazing. Oily wrappers, great draw, thick, luxurious smoke, razor sharp burn, and that amazing RP Sungrown flavor---all burly leather, pepper, cedar, and spice---in spades.

If you haven't had one in awhile, go buy a fistful NOW. The one I've got burning is the best I've had in some time.

I got a box of these off Cbid for $50 bucks about a year or so back. Great cigars.

tried my first one a couple of days ago. Was a tad stronger than i expected but very good. the sweetness people talked about didn't kick in till midway and then was still on the light side. will have to see what a month in the humi will do

I was at the Rocky factory in Honduras recently and was told that the seconds are actually thirds. The selects are actually the seconds. Actually it is based mainly on color and consistancy of construction.

Here's a shot of the quality control room. You will notice that certain bundles have the cigars turned the wrong way. These are the selects and seconds (thirds). Each bundle is marked with the rollers name and they do not pay them for the rejects.

I just got back Saturday from a tour of Rocky's place in Honduras. We visited every facet of the growing and manufacturing of cigars. It was truely an incredible experience.

I absolutely love these.  Smoked a pair with a friend of mine whose never had one before, I insisted on the RP sun grown over anthing else and he was glad I was that pushy about it.  He chose to buy a couple of the sticks himself to take home.  For their price, I'd pull the credit card any day.[smokin4]
