Yesterday it was in the 50's. Sunny and no wind.
Today was predicted to be better.
They lied. It barely broke 45, the sun never came out and the wind is wailing. But that didn't slow me down.
There's nothing quite like the first grilled hamburger and hotdog of the year.

Glad it came out OK Skip. Gas or coal? With me, Neither the Rain, sleet, snow, yaddy yadda yaddy. I cook out at Least once a week, 52 a year. I just love it.

Great thread! You're right, there's something great about cleaning, preparing, and lighting up the grill for the 1st time in the spring.
I fired mine up for the 1st of the season yesterday.
We had JoeBob's BBQ Pork chops, and they were fantastic.
Tonight, we had JoeBoburgers and corn on the cob. My own recipe, 1st time making them.
REALLY good.
Tomorrow it's going to be chicken breasts I think. Looooove to grill.

A lot of got tricked by that false forecast on Sunday thinking it was going to be 63 and sunny. I thought it was funny that the weather was sponsored by the local Butcher shop.

I use my grill all winter long. The first thing I do when it snows is shovel a path to the grill. It's a direct line hook up with natural gas.
