Well, in my endevor to find new an interesting tasty smokes, I just tried this one from punch after breakfast. Not being a real cigar expert, here goes. If I wanted to smoke a fruit salad, I would have made one. Bleah! From first drag to last all I could taste was citrus. It was a combo of orange blossom honey, and passionfruit tea. Not a very good taste at all. Very light and bland. Not what I was expecting. If this is the flavor you are looking for then enjoy. Not my thing. Hope this helps.

Were you sitting next to an air freshener? Did someone store it in a box full of Acids and Lars Tetens?
Every Punch RC I've smoked has been pepper, leather, and nutmeg . . . and the '07 Crystale Torp RC is one of my favorite medium-bodied smokes, a dead ringer for the nearly twice as expensive Don Carlos #2.
Every palate's different, but . . . dooood.

Might have something to do with what you ate for breakfast.:? I found these to be amazing smokes for their price line.
Another thing that comes to mind is that the one you had might have been tainted by a flavored cigar as NANP stated.
You might want to revisit this cigar another time, I believe you will have a diffrent opinion second time around.

I last had one last summer and remembered that it was a decent enough smoke. Not citrus-like to me though either. Try another one cause as Fishhound said its a nice smoke for the money.

I like the 07 crystals so much I got a box of 08s. A box for $80 sticks that will knock your socks off.

couldn't agree more. this was actually my first experience with a corojo wrapper, and i LOVE it. i also like the magnum. great cigars imo

Never got a citrus flavor from these smokes. And I have been buying these by the box since 2001.
