Savinelli Rico Y Raro Series Y

I wouldn't have bought this smoke except that I found it in a bargain bin. After seeing that the Savinelli Special Editions were so well reviewed I gave it a try.

It's not my typical smoke. Very Ligero. A strong cigar but I found it to be very good. Complex flavor heavy on the wood side of the spectrum. But it changed quite a bit as I smoked it. Not a cigar to power smoke. Take yer time and have a full stomach when you spark it. It's got a lot of nicotine and it will leave yer head spinning but it is a quality smoke. Burn was perfect and by the time I reached the last third of the cigar it had developed a nice toasty wood and caramel flavor. Very nice.

I had the double Robusto. I'd say it's at least an hour smoke to do it justice. Prolly pair up nice with some Scotch, Bourbon or Brandy.

I've had nothing but good experiences from Savinelli.
Great cigars made by Fuente and Oliva.
