Doc / StogieFresh ? - Admin - 01-03-2012

Anyone know what is up with StogieFresh? I went to StogieFresh.com and it states he is setting up a new site:
http://www.StogieFresh.info

But when I go to that site, its BLOCKED and gives malware warnings!

This page is blocked by PC Tools Spyware Doctor
www.stogiefresh.info was blocked because it is on the banned sites list.

Anyone else having problems getting to Doc's site?

Just checked it on my computer (Macbook). Works fine for me.

It works for me also Eric

RE: Doc / StogieFresh ? - Admin - 01-03-2012

Its listed on the PC Tools malware site list for some reason. Very odd. I've not had an alert like that in a very long time. I wonder if there is some bad java-script or something there that triggered the alert/ban. Can't be tobacco or anything "adult" because it does not block those sites. Only ones with malware/viruses that load. I sent Doc a PM. Anyone else using Spyware Doctor would probably be blocked as well which is not good for his site. Its a rather popular software package for real-time protection.

It looks like the domain/IP address its hosted on has been flagged and banned some places.

http://domain-blacklist.e-dns.org/stogiefresh.info ---Of course that's just the start as that website only checks.. Maybe 200 lists/databases.

Why? Well, there are a hundred different possible reasons... Most likely, he has shared hosting on a shared server/IP address and someone was blacklisted for spamming or for malware activity... Which blacklists everyone using that shared server/IP.

Removal / getting an exception added can be difficult unless you've done it before and have contacts to help.

BTW: Here's an example of a well cared for domain/IP address--- http://domain-blacklist.e-dns.org/printfreetargets.com

i'm cool with his site.

RE: Doc / StogieFresh ? - Admin - 01-03-2012

Looks like one of our sites are also blocked due to the GoDaddy / Blacklist problem. This sucks.

Sorry to hear that Eric. That does suck indeed.

I think you found the problem Dustin! All my sites are good except one. And its a GoDaddy site / issue. Seems GoDaddy and that
http://www.ahbl.org will not work with each other so customers get screwed.
