Xikar products? - Zomboid - 07-27-2011

I'm thinking of buying a xikar cutter and a lighter together. My punch cutter is getting dull, and I rather get a different one.

I'm pretty much convinced on the crossover for its looks, but I'm kind of iffy on the punch. Is it better to get the MTX Bead Blast cutter for its functionality?

I heard xikar was a good brand, so that's what I was looking at. Is there a website that carry other good accessories?

Any other thoughts?

Love my Xikar VX.

I love Xikar cutters. I have had mixed results with their lighters. They have the best warranty in the biz. If something doesn't work or breaks or dulls, send it back. I have done it once and got a brand new cutter.

this is true. i had a problem with the lighters, it's been my experience they just don't work well in high elevation. anyway, i sent them an email, told them about the lighter, and they said send it back. so i did, along with my 2 cutters. they shipped me back all 3, in the form of brand new ones. however, the lighter still didn't work- so i emailed them again. this time they said that it was their fault, don't worry about shipping that one in, and sent me out another brand new lighter. this one actually works, surprisingly. so i guess the moral of my story is- they take care of you.

Xicar will stand behind its products. in todays market that is about as good as it gets. plus their stuff is generally very good quality.

I just picked up my first Xikar last week on Pete's recommendation. Best purchase I've made in a while. Like Pete says, just throw it in a pocket and go!
Just be sure to bleed it down to nothing when you first get it. If the lighter itself comes from a different elevation, it could have some serious air built up.

I have 2 Xikar cutters, both now dull so I'll be sending them in this week.

I have a punch I use every now & then. Next cutter I pick up will be a V.

I've also got 2 Xikar's... I keep one in my truck & normally one in my pocket. Great company!

OK, sounds like they have a good reputation then. I've been using 8 dollar punch for a year, recently its been doing more than just cutting, lol.

I think I'll just get it so I'd stop oogling at it for hours.
