Cigars and Golf - US_Tank - 05-10-2011

As many of you know I love to golf. And no round of golf is complete without a cigar or two to enjoy. With that said I am tricking out my golf cart this year.

New color
New tires and rims
Alpine stereo
Infinity speakers
New seats to match the color
Tricked out steering column
Ball washer
Cooler rack
Headlights

I also want to incorporate a cigar theme. As of this morning the cart was a putrid green. Now she is sanded and primed. Here is a picture of her last year while I was tooling around with Betty Boop without Jimmie the Mum's permission.

So my question is this:

Should I paint her a hot rod red and go with a Nub or Cain theme? Or should I go silver and a Room 101 cigar theme? I chose these two colors based on the themes and the ability to keep the cart looking cleaner. Let me know guys. And here is the current look:

I got her all sanded and primed today. A local autobody shop will sell me hotrod red or silver auto paint and clearcoat. My Mom is professional painter and she is taping the cart off now as I surf on Stogie Chat. HAHAHAHAHA! Gotta love Mom's. We are gonna paint soon so give me your opinions.

I would go with the Red. Silver is just too much for my taste. I have worked on a few custom golf carts always a fun project.

I bought the cart a three years ago. Now I am tricking it out. Doing all the painting myself with the help of Mom. My 12 inch wheels and rims have arrived and they will go on after the paint job. The golf cart shop is putting in the headlights and a buddy is helping me with the stereo installation. Otherwise I am doing most of the rest myself.

Excellent! If you have any questions let me know. I am pretty sure I have all my notes from the previous builds.

I got some pretty dope brushed chrome rims. If I go red the shop has a set of badass red and black seats that were custom ordered for another customer but he backed out of. The shop is holding the seats for me for a couple of days until I make a color decision. Gonna paint Thursday.

I'd go with hot rod flames

RE: Cigars and Golf - wtfdic - 05-10-2011

With Chrome rims you are better off with red. The chrome will not stand out as much on a silver paint job.

The red sounds nice

But more importantly....where do you store the beer kegs?
