was this cigar a let down for anyone? i was just smoking a 7 x 50 size and the first 3 inches was very bland, not much taste..dissapointing, but then the last half it really woke up...was like i was smoking a different cigar..anyone else experience this?

Not a let down...but that is the way this smoke is blended..starts of kinda mild and gains strength after the first third.

yeah it was EXTREMELY mild at first..then it really kicked off

I havent had the Le Bijou yet, but think the regular My Father is a great stick. Pepin rarely misses in my opinion.

im going to try the regular, although it says the Le Bijou 1922, is a spicy full-bodied, i got the full body in the 2nd half, but i didnt really pick up any spicyness

I smoked one a few weeks ago. Pretty good, started off milder, kicked up in spice and intensity towards the end. I smoked a petite robusto sized
