Has anyone else had the fairly new blend, the Omerta and the 1400?

I love the Omerta,I need to sit down with a pen and paper and do a full noteing session while smokeing for further review thread,I forget alot sometimes.I do remember my thoughts while drifting off while relaxing with a good smoke though.Wink

Anyway,basic notes of the Omerta,
Full bodied
totally unique taste that with some age will do wonders and bring out the sweetness in this.
Will age well
complex with some tastey flavors
strong tastes of toast, cream, coca.and a spice I cannot place...anise or rosemary maybe.....allspice?I'll figure it out after its rested a year.
Strong smoke with full body
great construction very toothy and perfect cap
draw is perfect medium the way I like it with loads of thick smoke, bluish white with a lil puff.
Burn is even on a zebra ash, white, light grey,to black stripes.Blueish white smoke off the ash and moreso than usual while sitting.

They do not come in boxes of 20/25 but I believe a tin of 14 or something like that.
J&R's had a 2 page review on them in there latest catalog.
A must try and a thumbs up for Nat Sherman who desperately needed a stick like this.

The 1400,
Very similar to the above but medium in stregnth and a bold medium flavor profile.A little more vanillay and fruity.Another complex one with great construction, draw, and burn.
Tastes like a great ageing stick, though may make it too smooth if left to sleep like rip van winkle.

Another must try.

Prices are more than usual for nat shermans but imo, worth it and maybe if they stop makeing tins and fancy pakageing we can get a normal priced dress box.

I will send a couple to our favorite reviewers in the very near future for a full detailed review.WinkSmile

edit;
1400's come in a box of 14
Omerta's come in tin of 6....my bad.

Funny CP but you point these out and they are on C-Bid as a special for $41.99 after a starting bid of $29.99.  I guess the word is out on these.

That happens to me alot....as soon as I hear something new or have a question on something I never saw asked,I start to see all sorts of info on it.

Its like, everytime I think of a movie or a show pops in my head I havent seen in ages....couple days later I see it on a commercial for the next week...pretty wierd.

Give em a try headly,you will not be disappointed.....I don't think.Big Grin

I received one of these at a herf (learned about the herf here) and was quite pleased with the cigar...

Nat Sherman is located nearby here (5th & 42nd). I may simply have to get myself some more.

I just ordered, recieved today, 2 boxes of the 1400 churchill,14 cigars in an odd looking standup box with tassel, and 2 boxes of the Omertas,6ct tin and fake leather boxes. The boxes must be why they are priced higher.
I get mine from J&R and they had them in the latest deals section all last month.Still cheap though for small ct boxes.
I believe these will age quite nicely and am happy Nat Sherman went with stronger and bolder cigars.I wish they would make a bland box of 20-25ct for each of these brands.
I hope I can resist temptation and let these sit until next summer.I will be buying more of each whenever I have extra cash from buying my list of cigars.

My local B&Ms have the Nat Shermans in at least occasionally.  I'll pencil them in on my must-try list.  (OK, so it's an Excel spreadsheet, but who's counting?)
