I am looking for a quality scissor cutter to keep by my humidor that I wont have to mortgage the house for. I am looking for quality. something that will continue to cut well without crushing. The key here is it has to be thin and therefore made of some semi-exotic strong metal.

Nice, very nice.

I also remember seeing a thread on SC1 which had pics of a triple blade contraption that looked like it was sweet, not sure of the quality, but from an engineering view point, it looked great.

I have a triple blade scissor that I posted pics of.
Can't find it online anymore.
Wasn't worth it. I use it for looks, never ever cut with it.

Skipper,

First go here: http://www.nextcigar.com/en/accessories.php?id_acc_type=3

Then scroll down and look at the Laguiole Cigar Cutters. These are moderately priced as far as high end collectibles go. They are made by a company that makes knives and, thus, have a lot of experience with sharp blades.

I use the Xikar MTX regularly, and I think it is great, I particularly enjoy the folding action.
