Had some time on my hands today and decided to burn up a Gispert lonsdale maduro that I got from a bomb on another board.  I haven't been impressed with this line as they are somewaht mild and flat tasting.  Since this one was box-pressed and had an oily sheen, I just had to try it to see if this one was any different, and it was!.  The wrapper is just impeccable on this and the burn was outstanding as well.  The draw was a bit stiff, which is the only drawback on this cigar, it didn't get any better as the cigar progressed.  Flavor wise, it gives you a light cedary flavor that isn't rough at all, very crips..  Definitely a mild-medium cigar, more on the mild end perhaps for a maduro, but very enjoyable if you need a good smoke and don't have an entire evening at your disposal.  These cigars are definitely better than the regular Gisperts that I've tried in the past year, and a box of 20 of these runs you about $40.00, definitely a steal.  [cigar]

Overall rating-89

You may be on to something here Scotty.  The Gispert Maduro Churchill beat a number of high dollar sticks in the lastest addition of CA scoring a 90.
