Shelly Duncan is an asshole and is not enough of a man to wear the Yankee Uniform (and coming from a Sox fan, thats quite an insult).  He has redefined classless.  I dont blame the yankees for this one, this is all on him.  What a friggin prick!

Seriously though, thats a kid.  Is this the face the Yankees orginization (or Major League Baseball for that matter) wants to put forward??  I mean would Derek Jeter or Bernie Williams (the prototypical "Real Yankees") do that to a 10 year old fan who waited in line patiently for his autograph.  Would David Ortiz or Jason Varitek do that to the equivalent Yankee fan??  Of course not. All of the aforementioned players, faces of their teams, would act with dignity and class that seem to be a foreign concept to Mr Duncan.  What happened to Yankee Pride, and how classy this organizations is supposed to be, and the higher standard its players are held to. I hope his teammates and the front office gave him all kinds of hell for being so bush league.   Honestly I wouldnt have a big deal if Duncan did that to me, but I am 28. I get the joke. To do that to a kid is the sign of a ignorant tool, especially considering he hasnt been with the team long.   If it now became just that much harder for him to make the team next year, I won't be too terribly sad.

reminds me of the time george brett signed and autograph "f#$% you.  george brett" at boardwalk and baseball.  another class tool.

The guy who posted this on the other board I read posted it with the comment that Red Sox fans have no F'ing sense of humor.  What ever could he be talking about?  Big Grin
