- BigB123 - 12-30-2007 I'm relatively new to cigars, but I think I know what I'm looking for. I've just yet to find it. I've recently smoked a CAO Gold, Perdomo Reserve Champagne, Carlos Torano 1916, and a Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe. My favorite was the Torano, but it was still missing something for me. What I think I'm looking for is something similar to the Carlos Torano 1916 - mild and smooth, but a little sweeter than the Torano (not flavored). Any suggestions? I really apprecate it. [cigar] BigB123 - wingo - 12-30-2007 The Torano 1916 has a cameroon wrapper and these wrappers are known for being a little spicy and sweet. I would seek out a few more cammies. Here are a few you might enjoy. - fishhound - 12-30-2007 Give a Romeo & Juliet Bully a try. Usually a pleaser with most new smokers, and still has a place in my humi. - Tonto - 12-30-2007 Also Romeo y Julieta Cedreo Deluxe #2 - fishhound - 12-30-2007 Tonto The Long Island Sidekick Wrote:Also Romeo y Julieta Cedreo Deluxe #2Good point, another old fav. - scott81425 - 12-30-2007 fishhound Wrote:yes! that was the cigar that got me hooked. you might also check something in a sumatra wrapper, like a sol cubano if you can find one. i love the way those taste on my lips. i will also second the oliva serie g. have you tried any of the other torano lines? they make some great smokes!Tonto The Long Island Sidekick Wrote:Also Romeo y Julieta Cedreo Deluxe #2Good point, another old fav. - fishhound - 12-30-2007 The Macanudo Petite Corona was my cigar for years. I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I still have a soft spot for that cigar. - ColbyPants - 12-30-2007 fishhound Wrote:The Macanudo Petite Corona was my cigar for years.
