[quoteActually, what's wrong with my wife? I would love to move down to Boca Raton, Florida and set up shop there. She HATES the idea of moving to humid FL.

I am from Boca Raton! I go to school in Tallahassee but Boca will forever be my home! I love Boca but hot damn it is expensive. If I wasn't receiving my old house when I my mother moves and I graduate I probably wouldn't be able to afford to move back down there!

I don't know why the gov would support this.. but here is my guess.. He's figuring it will bring in more money for the state, and he probably buys his cigars from a little island south of florida anyhow, and just doesnt tell anyone.

Yea.  Really really do not want to live in CA.  (Job interview on Wednesday with Schlumberger and I'm pretty sure they would want me to live in CA)
I feel sorry for those of you who do live there.  Isn't there a large earthquake due soon that will sent most of CA into the ocean?  Tongue
Nah, they have been saying that for a long, long, long time.  Earthquakes have not been too bad.  Better than dealing with Tornado Alley!!!!Confusedhock:

This state was great at one time. They find everything to tax around here now days. I am so sick of it I am ready to move.

They also don't realize another side effect of such a huge tax rate hike in cigarettes and other tobacco is a spike in crime, which we saw here in NY after the price of a pack of smokes jumped almost $3 in NYC... there were so many more burglaries and robberies where only cartons of cigarettes were stolen and nothing else.  Wait until someone gets killed in a store robberey for cartons of smokes.  See what they say then.

if "made the cover of cigar aficionado" arnold doesn't kill this, or at least campaign against it, that's it for him. i voted for him out of the sheer ecstasy entailed in actually getting to kick a politico out of office (useless gray davis). but this is the litmus test. he says he's pro biz.... we'll see.

The Gov. has no control over the board of equalization.

and ya know, if all of you move, then the state's economy  would go down, and states would pay the price for being stupid.  Only thing is, where the hell do we all move that doesn't have nazi tobacco rules.

I hate your f**ing state.

I just got off the phone with TS.

He is thinking of moving to Oklahoma.
