I lit up a Gurkha Legend & it was great. A big difference between them. - Rob The Long Island Cowboy - 05-15-2006 Gurkha Legend. Two thumbs way up. - Tonto - 05-15-2006 Gurkha - Gurkha dirka-dirka? ![]() - Rob The Long Island Cowboy - 05-15-2006 Tonto The Long Island Sidekick Wrote:Gurkha - GurkhaHans Bwix?!? - Tonto - 05-15-2006 Rob The Long Island Cowboy Wrote:A wittle more to da weft, a wittle more....Tonto The Long Island Sidekick Wrote:Gurkha - GurkhaHans Bwix?!? - Tfire136 - 05-16-2006 Mark Wrote:As far as an everyday smoke, I find that I smoke atleast one Anejo a day. It is just something about that cigar that I can't get enough of.You suck!!!!! lol I do agree with many of the points. I really enjoy the Opus, Anejos, and VSGs. There is something about the La Gloria Cubanas Serie R that I can't get enough of. - Poriggity - 05-16-2006 bwhhahaha.. I LOVE that movie! Now, on to the topic at hand.. While I won't turn down a fuente if I can find something at a decent price, I do find them to be overhyped. I however, don't care for gurkhas like Joebob and Rob. In fact, I have yet to find a gurkha that I really liked. However, I do really enjoy the K hansotia XXX ligero, Every CAO Ive had, with exception to the CAO gold, and I also am a big fan of camacho, La Finca-(Just found this one recently), and Torano. Scott - Beerlord - 05-16-2006 I never really thoguht much of Fuente's (Sungrons and VSG the exception)so for me to think less fo them would be pretty hard. - JoeBob - 05-16-2006 You got it Scott - La Fincas are one of the best kept secets for a CHEAP smoke that is really CHEAP, inexepnsive, consistant, and is perfect for so many smoking situations. The yard, the bar, driving, fishing....basically any time you're not sitting someplace trying very hard to pick out tiny nuances and flavors. Plus, they're very cheap. Last night, I passed on an Anejo and smoked a Partagas instead. Wrasslin just isn't the same without a good stogie! - Skipper the cigar aFISHinodo - 05-16-2006 smoke too much of any one brand and you will think the same of that brand. Also high expectations can ruin a smoke. My greatest pleasure is form not repeating the same cigar in my last group of 20. & by the way... VSG's are really NOT fuente. The owner of the company pretty much gave 15% of it to Carlito so that he would have a vested interest in marketing the product as well as VSG gets their tobacco from Fuente farms grown to their specification. |
