Beginner combo
#1
Hello all. Just joined up and introduced myself in the other forum.
I am looking at getting a beginner combo.(humidor, cutter, cigars) not sure what type to start with. I have had some good cigars over the years with friends but not sure what types. I like them after cooking, love to cook. Also relaxing in the yard if this Louisiana humidity does not run you inside. Would love some suggestions.
Thanks in advance!

Always go bigger. If the humidor says it fits 100, it probably holds 50 or 60 at best. As far a cutters, pick up a variety, straight cut, punch, V are a few.

Do you have a shop near you that is friendly and you can talk to the owner. It they have a nice selection than you can sample a few etc.

Olivia makes all kinds of stogies from mild to full body.

A few thoughts.. Bigger is better, especially around here.
Stay away from glass tops and get a digital hygrometer.
Here is nice mild to medium sampler
