I probably don't lean on this thread enough, but this one seemed like I should. I got a call this evening that a friend's 18 year old son had a motorcycle accident. He's in ICU now; both legs broken, boths arms have multiple breaks, broken pelvis, broken ribs, and damage to internal organs. He was wearing his helmet, thank god, and so there is no brain damage.

Prayers are with him, thank god his family instilled enough responsibility in him to wear a helmet. In NH there is no helmet law.

My understanding it is that he's still in the ICU. His dad's been hard to get ahold of, but he was pretty banged up. I've been waiting to hear about the move to a regular room so as to go visit, but no word yet.
I guess the flip side of that is there hasn't been a report of things worsening, which is good.
