Hey all, is this parallel to the subprime mess?   I mean, come on.   Many out there went on out and financed far more house than they could afford in California, New York, and Florida, only to default on the loan.

Why not now with cars?

Interesting.  I purchased a Hyundai Tiburon in late 2005, and its been nothing short of a spectacular company and service.  I even went though them to finance, and got a better rate than my local banks.   I wanted, REALLY wanted, to buy American.  After FOUR American vehicles that had the electronics crap out on me around 5years of ownership, i just couldn't bend over again.

Jimmie the Mum has a Hyundai Santa Fe and she is rock solid.  Great ride.

Your talking about the car right?  Big Grin

I could see this happening.  Lot of fancy cars on the road driven by people who don't seem to qutie fit it.
I've been VERY tempted to get a car I can't afford.  But is also nice to owe nothing but insurance and licensing on your car.

I have not had a car payment in 3 years.
