And $1671 the other day. Who would have thunk it? I HAD to pull the trigger to test the water. I walked in with a 1993 US mint 4 eagle proof coin set and walked out with $3127 for my 1.85 ounce set that I paid $587. He ACTUALLY asked if I wanted CASH or check.
Needless to say I left with

Ok...question...how much would you expect to get if you sold...say 1 troy ounce of scrap (broken jewelery, etc) 14k gold, if it was at $1,600 per oz?
using that link I posted & today's current price...
1 Troy Ounces of 14 karat Gold = 968.940 USD
Price of Gold: 1661.04 USD an ounce.
14 karat: 58.33% purity.
So how much of the $968.94 would you expect to get back? (I realize the buyer has to v=cover thcosts of recycling the gold & make a profit too.)
Terry, that does not mean you need to put $2500 in to the jeep lol. Buy yourself a cigar! Thats called a damn nice investment sir.

$100ish under spot price!
The analyst are all over the board. I watch the market sink and gold shot up. The market up and gold drops. Go figure. Today I see to sell at these #s and use the money to get back in 100 lower when the market pops. I hope.
