Guantanamera is a Current ICT machine-made brand.
It was a post-revolution brand, established in 2002, and was deleted from Habanos portfolio circa 2005.
It is now produced in Cuba by Internacional Cubana de Tabacos, S.A. (ICT) under license to Habanos S.A.

  1. Right on! I'm always on the lookout for a good budget smoke. If I ever go back to Cuba, I want to try some of the cigars in the paper bundles they sell in the peso markets meant for domestic consumption. Have you ever had any of those? They're machine made as well. I've seen pictures of them, but I can't remember any of the brand names.

  2. Great review, Dave. Do you ever come to the Houston, Texas area? If so, we need to meet up!

Hope all is well, brother. Safe travels!

  3. Thanks again Dave. Always enjoy your videos, and the exchanges we've had. That cigar sounds pretty good , and would make a nice morning, checking the farm smoke. What kind of price does it have? You do approach all your reviews with a pretty open mind, and that's pretty refreshing. I don't think you aim to steer anyone in the wrong direction, and as we all know, everybody has a different set of taste buds, but I usually agree with your assessments .

  4. Hahaha. Never thought you'd be smoking these. I've only smoked the puritos and decimos.
Puritos have terrible construction, but the decimos are nice. They have a strange chocolate taste in the 1st third and from there on out a deep taste sometimes bitter towards the final third. I'll have to pick one of these up to try.
    Thanks Dave!
