After purchasing Indianhead Distributors last October, José “Jochy” Blanco announced that the first release under the new brand would be named La Galera, which was supposed to begin shipping to retailers by the end of 2015. However, the process of getting the cigars into the U.S. was delayed, but the cigars finally shipped last month.

The new brand is being sold in two different wrappers, both of which are grown in Ecuador: a habano leaf and a Connecticut leaf. Although the wrappers on both releases are different, the internals are the same, including a corojo binder from the Dominican Republic and a blend of Dominican piloto cubano, criollo ’98 and pelo de oro tobaccos used in the filler. Both cigars are also being rolled at Blanco’s Tabacalera Palma factory in the Dominican Republic.

The La Galera Connecticut debuted in five different vitolas, all of which are being sold in boxes of 20.

Chaveta (5 1/8 x 50) — $4.95 (Boxes of 20, $99)
El Lector (6 x 54) — $5.75 (Boxes of 20 $115)
Tabaquero Presidente (7 1/4 x 50) — $6 (Boxes of 20, $120)
Cortador (6 1/8 x 52) — $5.75 (Boxes of 20, $115)

  1. What a great video Mr. Leemack!! I have only been into cigar smoking about 5 months now and this video represents why….just relaxing, talking about anything, maybe nothing….listening to some tunes, having a nice dram of a good whiskey, scotch or a good beer….just watching this video relaxed me!!! I'm still exploring and learning about the cigar culture and I know Mr. Terry appreciates you taking the time to just hang out and answer any questions he might have and share some of your experiences with him….you are a very genuine guy and that's what the cigar community has taught me….just relax and be yourself!!! Thanks you and I look forward to your next "hangout" video!!! This is going to be a great day!!!!

  2. I had to write the check yesterday. Dentist $1,200 cost
Thank you god its not an issue.

  3. Another great video brother have a great day!

  4. You buddy barely let's the smoke enter his mouth…😂

  5. I don't smoke cigars but i can enjoy it vicariously through you bro thanks

  6. Very nice video mr LeeMack 👍🏻🙏🏻

  7. Terry, throw a slice of white bread in the cigar ziplock bag.  A cigar and a slice of Wonder bread has about the same moisture content.  Excellent way to keep a cigar fresh for a week or so.

  8. Top notch editting Lee

    5star entertainment

  9. Lee, if you get a chance, get up to Saratoga in August – when the horses are running at the track.  It's like going back in time.  Old time track.  Dress code if you want to sit inside.  Just a beautiful day.  The horses only run about 5 weeks in the year.  Great place for a fine cigar.

  10. Diggin the fact you got your drone going finally. Keep it up. Adds to your personal style of your videos. Keep it up and as always "Have a great day".
