I read macallan2's post on how he would like his last meal to be Spaghetti and prego with his mom...made me think of my favorite meals.
Dad would always take me out to dinner on my birthday. His philospy is "celebrate your life on your birthday". I was 22 or 23. He got the Chef's table at Reatta in Fort Worth. The Chef's table is when they set up a table inside the kitchen and the Chef himself tends to you. I had a bone-in bison ribeye and we shared a Roshambo cabernet. He thought dining in the kitchen was wierd. I thought it was the best.
