New Hygrometer
#11
I've been watching the wireless remotes for quite a while and have talked to the company. They are as good as it gets for the $$. I knew they made many of the radio shack units.  On the wet cloth method I THOUGHT I read that it was supposed to read 100% but it's been a long time since I read it. That's an awesome idea to put all of them in a humi to check consistency.  My prob with calibration still bugs the shit out of me that the % goes up (in the test bag) when the temp goes down. A LOT  So do you calibrate when you can controll the temp @ 75 where the norm room temp is going to be?
.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.

it sometimes does do 100% depending on how wet the cloth is and if you dont use the double plastic bag. It is not reliable which is why I use a second trusted hygro to confirm my readings.
