Pandora's (Music) Box~
#1
Anyone else using this?

http://www.pandora.com/

They call themselves "the Music Genome Project" . . . you tell 'em what kind of stuff you like, and they match it up with OTHER stuff you'll probably like, too . . . and then you can fine-tune it song by song; thumbs up adds it to your permanent playlist, thumbs down and you'll never hear it again.

You can set up more than one playlist, too. I've got three---Texas music, Sailing music (Jimmy Buffet, island music, like that) and Ambient/Techno (for when I'm working on art or writing projects and don't want lyrics in my head).

Works great over broadband/cable modem/DSL. I may cancel my cable TV service since all I've been using it for lately is Clear Channel.

Never tried this one, but have used a similar site http://www.lastfm.com.

Giving it a shot, I like it - 5 songs I've enjoyed in a row so far based on my selection.

I use pandora.  I think Don posted a link to it awhile back.  Been using it ever since. Smile

Nice find guys. Thanks
.

We cross our bridges when we come to them and burn them behind us, with nothing to show for our progress except a memory of the smell of smoke, and a presumption that once our eyes watered.
