Alas, i never served but if I did you can bet it would have been the navy. I love the ocean too much to spend too much time under it where I cant see it, I would have opted for a ship.

I was a Nuke Machinist Mate on the Henry Clay and the Casimir Pulaski. Did a tour of shore duty at Submarine Squadron 4 SMMS PMT. Medically retired in 92. Still active in the USSVI .

We are currently building a memrial float to the men lost on the USS Scorpion in May 1968, It is a 1/10th scale replica of SSN-589.
