Gurkha Vintage Robusto

Ok that was a bad pun in the description. I got a great deal on a 25 ct. box of these guys and I had my first one today, on the way home from work. I used a punch and found the pre-light draw a bit tight.

The Wrapper was a bit veiny but nothing that was too grossly out of place.Very similar to an Onyx Reserve. A dark oily wrapper with a tight feel to the roll. Using a triple flame torch lighter I toasted the foot just enough and took my first draw. I was right it was tight and I had to almost perform CPR on the little guy. Once lit, though this baby was pure royalty. No bitterness, just a creamy chocolaty smoke. When I got home my wife commented on it's coffee like quality. For those of you into a nice mellow cigar. This is one to try. Don't let the dark outer wrapper fool you, it is a very mellow smoke.
