I actually just picked up a good sized humi!

it's zebra wood, looks extremely nice, ran me about 600$ but I'll have it forever so I thought it worth the price...

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

a Verdadero organic, Toro size

a Oliva serie V robusto and Lancero ( Tanks suggestion )

and a few Camacho triple maduros because I seem to like medium to full bodied stoges so far

well, i was gonna shoot my mouth off, but there's already boku excellent info in this thread.

bottom line: smoke what makes you happy. all the babbling and futzing after that is just fun and gravy.

the vocabulary can be intimidating (reading reviews and such). a good thing to keep in mind is that the words used to describe flavors are just approximations. some will ring a bell, others won't, no worries.

most of all, enjoy the ride and all the discovery.
