1 of the trees my wife wanted was delivered today. After taking it out of the box, I'm not happy with what they did to it. Seems they cut the top off in order to fit it into the box. Note: the white fence in the pics is 6' tall.
Anyone here know about this stuff?

From what I read I think so. It's called topping. Get it in ground and watered.
