First off I am a big CigarBid Fan it is as my mother's mother use to say it is a place to get a deal. But you also have to know prices, know when to back off from bidding war,s were you will win, but could loose.
Also some buy use CigarBid to stock their eBay stores, so they are easily IDed because they are the one alway going after XIKAR Cutter/Lighter/Stuff than then are flipped.
Have I ever over paid yes, how do I stop that practice now? I keep a little book with retail prices on item I want. Then check prices on Neptune, CI, Cigar Page, etc. to see real prices.
Honeslty CigarBid is the sister company of CI, Cigar.com, and Cigar & Piper. Owner by STG so yes some time you can buy below wholesale off Cigar Bid. Most Cigar are marked up 50% minimum. But you never know the real cost to retailers, as companies like Ashton make special deals to reduce inventor, or move dead stock.
