Do the custom install for win10, and be amazed how basically, every single thing you do is sent to microsoft AND unspecified "partners". How cortana has access to your microphone and camera (if your system has one), and sends all the information on every search AND the results you follow, to microsoft and unspecified "partners". You can turn all that shit off, but....in the eula, you agree that it's ok for them to arbitrarily turn it all on, *without* telling you they did so.
I sincerely hate to sound like some of those conspiracy nuts, but if you use win10, you give up any rights of privacy for anything you do on, in front of, or in the same room with, your computer.
