Every few months I take the gas from the gas cans and put in the car tank and put fresh gas in the cans.
At odd lot they have 5 gallon plastic gas containers for $12.99..

Around here, the plastic cans are about $20.
and after going through Sandy, you can't have enough gas cans here...we had a bad gas shortage in the aftermath.
I plan on putting labels on each can & rotating 1 per month in the car's tank & then refilling the can.
