Since we all connect to StogieChat with computers & phones I figured we could make use of an electronics section. This is a trial run to see if there is any interest.

Quick and cheap way to just test... The Westek TM08DHB Designer Series Indoor Power Strip Timer
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...-_-NA-_-NA One side is timed, the other is always on. You can set it to have the fans on for 15 minutes every hour, or even just once a day. Minimum is 15 minutes. (11-16-2012, 06:25 AM)jam Wrote: Awesome Section Adam.....

No problem! worst case, use it for your Christmas tree! I have one that turns on the tree around 6 then off around 11 automatically during the holidays. There is also a bypass switch on some strips to ignore the timer, perfect for Christmas day. It should work fine for turning on/off the fans.

I like that power strip a lot. However, I am just not sure about spending almost 30 dollars on a power strip.
Not that I haven't spent more money than that on stupid things before, I've just learned my lesson to being careful what I spend money on.
...moving along...nothing left to see here.

They are around $15-$17 on the website. Actually Lowes, Sears and even Wal-Mart sometimes has them. They are really good for holiday lights outside too, turn on at 7pm and off at midnight.
